IMS LATEX AUTHOR TEMPLATE
Intelligence, Mathematics and Society | v1.0.0 | 2026-10-07

Upload main.tex and references.bib to an Overleaf project and select XeLaTeX.
With a local TeX Live or MiKTeX installation, compile main.tex twice.
Tectonic also compiles the default standalone source.

Review layout is enabled by default: \IMSreviewtrue.
For publication layout, change it to \IMSreviewfalse.
Keep author names, affiliations, and correspondence for single-anonymous review.
Replace all instructions and placeholders with an English manuscript and 3-8
keywords. The section structure is adaptable for research, reviews, perspectives.

Edit IMSmanuscripttitle, IMSfirstauthor, and IMSsecondauthor in the author block.
PDF metadata follows these values. Adapt the display and metadata when changing
the number of authors. Leave editorial metadata blank until assigned by editors.

The default bibliography is embedded in main.tex. To use references.bib, follow
the comments in main.tex: remove the manual bibliography and enable the BibTeX
commands. The unsrt example uses note fields to retain DOI and ISBN information.
Do not enable both bibliography options.

The figure is an analytic demonstration, not experimental data. Replace it and
all sample content before submission, then inspect the exported PDF.
Use the appropriate funding, interests, data/code, ethics, and AI statements.
